Meet Em | Emily Durand

Hey there! Thanks for popping in!

My name is Emily and I am New York City based musical theatre performer who grew up as a child actor in the commercial industry. From a young age, I always knew I loved entertaining and sharing stories. My grandfather, David Hall Pitman, whom I credit to giving me my musical bones, was a Big Band musician who played with greats such as Tommy Dorsey, Ralph Flanagan, and Sammy Kaye.

I truly believe that art and music have the power to change, heal and influence and I feel honored that this gets to be my life's work.

I hold a BFA in Musical Theatre from Millikin University and have been fortunate to have worked with exceptional artistic professionals in the musical theatre industry for the past 7 years on various contracts and projects.

In addition to performing, I am also a New York Vocal Coaching Certified Voice Teacher and Coach and have a vocal studio, EDVS where I teach all ages and levels of singing.
