Emily Durand is a vivacious and versatile musical theatre performer who is dedicated to telling stories with spark and authenticity. She was drawn to music from a young age, inspired by her late grandfather, Big Band musician David Hall Pitman, who performed alongside legends like Tommy Dorsey, Ralph Flanagan, and Sammy Kaye.

She strongly believes that theatre and music have the power to heal and influence the way we see the world and it is her mission to cultivate a deep appreciation of the arts for all audiences.

Emily holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Millikin University and is also a New York Vocal Coaching certified voice teacher. She has a vocal studio, EDVS where she teach all ages and levels of singing.
