The arts have been in Emily's bloodline for two generations starting with her late grandfather, David H. Pitman, a professional musician who played with Tommy Dorsey, Sammy Kaye, and Ralph Flanagan during the big band era.
Emily began her career in the arts at
the age of three acting in television
commercials for Francesco Rinaldi,
JVC Cybercam, Bank of America, and
Wendy's to name a few. By age five she
had earned her SAG-AFTRA card and in
2015, obtained her BFA in Musical Theatre
from Millikin University. While in school, Emily was privileged to perform alongside Sierra Boggess as well as composer Andrew Lippa and has since performed in NYC venues such as Feinstein's 54Below and The Theater Center in the Anne L. Bernstein Theatre.
Volunteer work is also something very important to Emily. She believes in the power of sharing music with those in need and has enjoyed using this platform to bring the arts to children at Good Samaritan Hospital as well as senior citizens through Sing For Your Seniors, an organization that brings Broadway caliber performances to senior centers and nursing homes in and around the New York area. She is always looking for more opportunities to serve and bring joy to anyone who crosses her path.
