My name is Emily and I am New York City based musical theatre performer who grew up as a child actor in the commercial industry. From a young age, I always knew I loved entertaining and sharing stories. My grandfather, David Hall Pitman, whom I credit to giving me my musical bones, was a Big Band musician who played with greats such as Tommy Dorsey, Ralph Flanagan, and Sammy Kaye. 

 

I truly believe that art and music have the power to change, heal and influence and I feel honored that this gets to be my life's work.

 

I hold a BFA in Musical Theatre from Millikin University and have been fortunate to have worked with exceptional artistic professionals in the musical theatre industry on various contracts and projects. 

 

In addition to performing, I am also a New York Vocal Coaching Certified Voice Teacher and Coach and have a vocal studio, EDVS where I teach all ages and levels of singing.
